Tell me a little about yourself and what made you want to become an aesthetician?

So first off, I am a mother of 4 handsome boys and a wife to the sweetest man on earth. I am an aesthetician in a medspa out in Scottsdale Arizona, and LOVE this industry. I actually got into this field of work because after having my babies, my skin went crazy with hormonal acne. It would come and go, but no matter what I tried my self esteem was depleted. After being a stay at home mom for 6 years, I finally decided to take the plunge and go to school and figured while I help myself with my own skin maybe I could help others too! It’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. ♥️

What are some key facials you recommend people get throughout the year?

The best facials to get throughout the year hands down are microneedling, chemical peels, and treatments like dermalinfusion or a HydraFacial, because they will give your skin the ultimate glow and continue to maintain skin health at its finest. ♥️

How important is keeping up with your morning and night time skincare routines?

It is everything. Literally everything. I try to tell my clients skin health is like the gym for body health. If you go to the gym everyday and work out, but then go home and eat garbage, you won’t see results. So, if I work my hardest in that hour and give your skin the best treatment, but then you go home and forget your routine or just do things here and there, your skin won’t ever reach it’s goal that you have for it.

Drugstore products are so taboo these days. What do you tell people when you hear they use drugstore products for their everyday routines?

I definitely don’t judge them, that’s for starters. Honestly most clients who come in and use drugstore products have no idea that it’s not doing much! If they are happy then I am content, but I do always try my best to educate my clients so that they understand the difference in medical grade and drugstore, as well as letting them know what I would recommend for them!

Favorite must-have products?

I literally feel like I have so many. My absolute go to products are: Skinceuticals simply clean gel cleanser and phyto corrective gel, Skinbetter Alto Defense and Alpharet, and their Interfuse Eye Cream 🤤, my QYKSONIC Zoe, and Mizzi Cosmetics Lip Luxe, Supergoop Mineral Brush on SPF, like seriously my FAVORITE.

Best tips for things you can do at home to keep up with your skincare.

The biggest tip at home is to cleanse your skin EVERY SINGLE NIGHT, and try to incorporate some sort of retinol into your night routine, it's an absolute game changer .♥️
